信息网络的快速发展使得谣言比病毒传播速度更快、比病毒的破坏力更强。在重大灾害事件中,网络谣言的危害不亚于灾害事件本身。新型冠状病毒肺炎疫情期间,千奇百怪的谣言盛行于我们的网络空间中,严重误导广大人民群众,若应对不当则容易加深人与人之间的诚信危机,诱发民众恐慌心理,引发社会动荡和秩序混乱,曲解国家经济和政治政策,损害政府威信,动摇广大人民群众的法律信仰,应给予严厉打击。

The rapid development of information networks makes rumors spread faster and more destructive than viruses.In major disasters,internet rumors are no less harmful than disasters themselves.During the COVID-19 epidemic,weird rumors prevail in the cyberspace,seriously mislead the people.If they are not dealt with properly,they will easily deepen the credibility crisis,induce panic among the people,and cause social unrest and disorder.Furthermore,the rumors would cause social unrest and disorder,misinterpret national economic and political policies,damage the prestige of the national government and shake the legal beliefs of the broad masses of people,therefore they should be severely cracked down.
