数字时代图书馆的坚守、创新与融合---“牛津大学图书馆700周年研讨会”的启示

建设面向未来的图书馆,既要回望过去,找到所需坚守的初心,也要立足当下,厘清变革环境中创新的方向.图书馆因一代又一代图书馆员奋力建设的珍贵馆藏资源而逐渐成为人们的“精神家园”,资源种类和服务方式的拓展也在为图书馆带来更多功能、更多角色.为纪念牛津大学图书馆建立700周年,2020年9月16-18日牛津大学图书馆在线召开了“牛津大学图书馆700周年研讨会”,与会专家学者讨论、辨析、审视了图书馆的过去、现在和未来,为图书馆的发展提供了新的思路和启发,即在数字化浪潮中,图书馆应坚守图书馆的核心价值,推进资源类型、服务方式、功能角色的拓展创新,增强用户信息素质,满足用户日益多元化的需求.

To build a library facing the future,we should find the original intention we need to stick to and make clear the direction of innovation in the changing environment.Industrious librarians and precious collections contribute to the library as a spiritual home,and the expansion of resources types and service methods also brings more functions and roles to the library.2020 marks the 700th anniversary of the establishment of the first purpose-built central library of the University of Oxford.The three-day conference considers the past,present and future of libraries in this broad context,and gives an opportunity to reflect on the role that libraries have played and continue to play in society.In the digital era,library should adhere to the core value of libraries,promote resource construction and service diversification,enhance users digital literacy,and meet the increasingly diversified users demands.
