This paper describes the principle of an online alarm device for the abnormal state of the pressure plate of the relay protection device.The device collects the real-time state of the protection plate by communicating with the relay protection device in the network,and the device has the function of input the fixed value of the protection plate.By comparing the state of the collected pressure plate with the given fixed value,the state of the pressure plate of the protection device can be judged intelligently and the alarm signal can be sent out at the same time.The alarm signal is transmitted to the station automation system in real time.At the same time,the field engineering application of the device is described.The field application shows that an online alarm device for the abnormal state of the pressure plate of the relay protection device realizes that when the state of the pressure plate is wrong,the automatic system can send out the alarm signal online.
