国医大师李士懋脉学思想之“明于理而不拘于迹”

Discussion on ‘understand the truth to avoid the confusion of signs’ of pulse theory by TCM master LI Shi-mao

国医大师李士懋教授临证重视脉诊,认为脉诊在四诊中起决定性作用,提倡以脉定证,平脉辨证。虽然脉象纷纭复杂,难以掌握,但李士懋教授认为,只要"明于理而不拘于迹",明白了脉理,则不拘其脉象之千变万化,亦可灵活掌握,运用自如。反过来,即可据脉的变化推断人身气血阴阳的变化。

TCM master LI Shi-mao attaches great importance to pulse-taking and considers that pulse-taking plays a decisive role in the four methods of diagnosis in clinical.He advocates to identify the syndrome by pulse-taking.Although the sign of pulse is various,which is difficult to understand,professor LI Shi-mao thinks it will be fine as long as‘understand the truth to avoid the confusion of signs’,that is,the sign of pulse will be easy when you understand the principle of pulse.Conversely,we can know about the qi,blood,yin and yang of human body according to the sign of pulse.
