Super construction:Evidence from the evolution of Chinese grammar

本文运用汉语语法演化史的证据,以被动结构的形成和功能的变迁为线索,确立了一种新的语法单位——超级构式。这级语法单位的确立有助于揭示语法演化的规律性,帮助人们理解语法化的动因、语法标记的功能变迁和语法手段的兴替,为探讨语言现象提供新的研究视角,也有助于推动认知语言学理论的发展。

Based on evidence from the evolution of Chinese grammar,this paper focuses on the diachronic changes of passives in order to establish a new kind of grammatical unit—super construction.The establishment of super construction is helpful in exploring the regularity of grammatical changes,which reveals the motivations for grammaticalization,the functional developments of grammatical morphemes,and the rise and decline of grammatical devices.This concept provides a new perspective for the study of linguistic phenomena and will advance the theoretical development of cognitive linguistics.
