文化基因是决定文化系统传承与嬗变的基本要素,红色文化作为文化基因的一种,是中国共产党革命文化传承的重要精神载体和遗传密码;沂蒙精神是山东党政军民共同铸就的先进群体意识,是中国革命精神的重要组成部分,是红色基因的重要载体;临沂大学是沂蒙精神哺育起来的大学,作为革命老区的大学,传承红色基因,弘扬沂蒙精神,是历史和时代赋予我们的使命。

Cultural gene is the basic factor that determines the inheritance and evolution of cultural system.As a kind of cultural gene,the red culture is an important spiritual carrier and genetic code for the inheritance of the revolutionary culture of the Communist Party of China.Yimeng spirit is an advanced collective awareness created together by the party,the government,the army and the people in Shandong province.As an important part of Chinese revolutionary spirit,and also an important carrier of the red gene,Yiment spirit has played a role in the development of Linyi University which is located in the former revolutionary base area.Therefore,it is a mission entrusted to the university by history and the era to inherite the red gene and carry forward Yimeng spirit.
