On the Opportunities and Challenges of the Shaolin Zen Bow Competition

少林禅弓是中国嵩山少林寺发起的中国传统射箭培训、评级、竞赛活动,是少林文化与传统射艺的一次结合与创新。自2017年至2019年已举行三次比赛,两次培训,一次评级,在技术、理论、制度等多方面日渐成熟,现已成为中国传统射箭最为完善的系统之一。少林禅弓具备健身、健心、人文教化等多重功能,在取得一定成绩同时面临诸多挑战。

Shaolin Zen Bow is a traditional Chinese archery training,rating,and competition activity initiated by the Shaolin Temple in Songshan,China.It is a combination and innovation of Shaolin culture and traditional archery.From 2017 to 2019,it has held three competitions,two trainings and one rating.It has gradually matured in many aspects such as technology,theory,and system,and has now become one of the most complete systems of traditional archery in China.The Shaolin Zen Bow has multiple functions such as fitness,mind building,and humanistic education.It has faced many challenges while achieving certain achievements.
