大学英语“课程思政”教育元素挖掘实践

The Exploration of Ideological and Political Elements in College English Teaching

根据《高校思想政治工作质量提升工程实施纲要》提出的构建"课程育人质量提升体系"的要求,通过大学英语《新标准综合教程第一册(第2版)》教学实践,探讨如何以适当的外语教学理论为指导,结合时政要闻及社会热点,从教学材料中挖掘思政元素,诠释"爱国、敬业、诚信、友善"社会主义核心价值观,把"课程思政"教学理念有意、有机、有效地融入大学英语教学各环节中,以期在提高学生语言知识及能力的同时,引领学生树立正确的价值观,实现思想政治教育与知识体系教育的有机统一。

In"the Outline for Implementing the Project of Improving the Quality of Ideological and Political Work in Colleges and Universities",it is required that a quality improvement system of ideological education in curriculum be established.Taking 4 Units in New Standard College English(Book 1)as examples,this paper introduces some practices in the efforts to implement the requirements of the Outline with an emphasis on fostering the four aspects of the core values of Chinese socialism,patriotism,dedication,integrity and goodwill.To achieve the teaching objective of developing students’language skills as well as a right philosophy of life in an effective and natural manner,appropriate foreign language teaching approaches are applied in the course design in combination with the exploration of ideological elements in the teaching materials,with current affairs and hot social issues as a part.
