In the new era,the CPC Central Committee has put forward important strategic decisions and arrangements for the construction of"double first-class"universities,further improving China's modern higher education governance system.During the COVID-19,this paper discusses the experience and strategy of talent cultivation in application-oriented universities,in order to strengthen the training of applied talents urgently needed by national security and local economic development.
