The monitoring and detection of veterinary drug residues was an important link to ensure the health development of meat products.The reasons of veterinary drug residues in meat productswere concluded,summarized and analyzed,it could be seen that insufficient understanding,lack of monitoring systems and insufficient resource allocation were important reasons for veterinary drug residues in meat products in our country.According to the reasons above,countermeasures were put forward,the aim was to provide reference forimproving supervision and monitoringefficiency of veterinary drug residues in meat products.
