摘要
隐喻具有构建认知域的功能,能够作为认知工具影响人们的思维方式,在政治话语中起着举足轻重的作用,且受到了许多学者的关注。文章以认知语言学的概念隐喻理论为指导,探讨习近平2019年国事访问演讲及文章中所使用的政治话语隐喻及其翻译策略所达到的效果,并对中国政治话语传播如何同时保持特色和译本的可接受性问题进行分析与思考,以期为处理政治话语隐喻翻译提供新的视角及实证语料。
With the function of constructing cognitive domain,metaphor acts as a cognitive tool,influencing people’s way of thinking.Thus,it is important in political discourse and has attracted much attention of scholars.This paper uses the Conceptual Metaphor Theory(CMT)of cognitive linguistics as a guide to discuss effects of the political discourse metaphors and the translation strategies used in Xi Jinping’s speeches and articles in 2019 state visit.Consideration on how to maintain the characteristics and acceptability of the translation is also given.
