In this paper commercial small gasoline engine EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation)system working principle,EGR system control mode,EGR system function,EGR system composition,EGR valve fault diagnosis phenomenon,detection method,troubleshooting process are described.Taking the commercial vehicle N1 small freight car as an example,the eff ect of the EGR valve failure on the vehicle idling speed is discussed in detail.Through discovering and solving problems,we can further understand the principle and arrangement of commercial vehicle EGR valve control,and lay the foundation for the subsequent commercial vehicle powertrain installation.
