"重"是一个常用多音字,在《广韵》中有平、上、去三读,分别对应不同的意义,其做副词使用时为去声。在语言发展的过程中,"重"的一部分副词义消失了,一部分表示"再、又"的副词义的读音在现代汉语中变读平声。本文将韵书与《经典释文》等音义书相结合,探讨副词"重"的读音演变,以及产生这种变化的原因。

"Chong"is a commonly used polysyllabic character.In Guangyun,there are three readings,i.e.level,rising and falling,which correspond to different meanings.When it is used as an adverb,it is pronounced in a falling tone.In the process of language development,some adverb usage has disappeared,and a part of the pronunciation of the meaning of"again"has changed to the level sound in Mandarin.In this paper,the authors combined the rhyme book with the classical interpretation,and discussed the phonetic evolution of the adverb"Chong"and the reasons for the change.
