According to the latest data of the top 250 international contractors in 2020 released by US Engineering News-Record(ENR),the performance of international contractors in overseas market was analyzed from the perspectives of revenue scale,benefit,business field and regional market,and the development trend of international contracting market was interpreted.The focus is on 74 Chinese mainland enterprises listed in the top 250 international contractors.The performance of the top 10 and Chinese mainland enterprises in the past five years is analyzed.Based on the in-depth analysis of the international contracting market in 2019,it turns out that the strength and competitiveness of Chinese contractors have been further enhanced,with a slight increase in market revenue and market share.However,their performance in the manufacturing,industrial,telecommunications,and European,American and Canadian markets is still weak,and they need to continue to develop.The conclusions provide reference for Chinese mainland enterprises to understand the current situation of international contracting market and to formulate competitive strategies.
