基于FPGA的AVES图像融合处理机设计

摘要 针对单源机载视觉导航系统在恶劣条件中表现不佳的问题,设计一种基于FPGA的AVES(Airborne Vision Enhancement System)图像融合处理机,该设计利用FPGA实现图像融合处理算法,将来自于红外摄像头和微光摄像头的照片进行像素级融合,将红外图像中识别的目标物体融合到微光摄像机捕捉不到的图像中,从而提高单一图像场景中有效信息所占百分比,提升视觉导航系统的整体性能。 Aiming at the problem that the single-source airborne vision navigation system does not perform well in harsh conditions, an FPGA-based AVES(Airborne Vision Enhancement System) image fusion processor is designed. The design uses an FPGA to implement an image fusion processing algorithm, which fusing photos from infrared cameras and low-light cameras based on pixel-level, and the target object identified in the infrared image is fused into the image that cannot be captured by the low-light camera, thereby increasing the percentage of effective information in a single image scene. Improve the overall performance of the visual navigation system.
