Historic Town Protection and Renewal under the Background of Urban Repair and Ecological Restoration——A Case of Matou Town in Huai’an

城市双修是改善城市环境、解决城市病症、改善人居环境品质的重要手段。当前,中国新型城镇化不断推进,历史城镇保护与更新面临着诸多困境。在淮安码头镇保护规划与整饬项目中,以"城市双修"为背景,着重解决建筑和景观空间重塑、功能转型、村镇风貌整饬、文脉延续等难题,以期把城市建设成"望者忘餐,行者忘倦,旅者忘归,居者忘老",宜居、宜业、宜游的美丽家园。

Urban repair and ecological restoration is an important means to improve urban environment,solve urban diseases and improve the quality of living environment.With the development of new urbanization in China,the protection and renewal of historic towns are facing many difficulties.In the protection planning and rectification project of Huai’an town,under the background of urban repair and ecological restoration,the problems of reconstruction of architecture and landscape space,transformation of functions,rectification of village style and continuity of context,etc.are mainly solved in order to build the city into a livable,business friendly and tourism friendly beautiful home.
