寺庙园林作为中国园林的一个重要分支,它不仅承担着中国传统佛教的宗教功能,还记载着中国传统文化的发展,见证了城市的时代变迁。西安的大兴善寺则因其独特的地理位置及深厚的历史底蕴,成为城市中寺庙园林的典型。本文从多角度对大兴善寺的功能进行全面分析,从而发掘寺庙园林在城市建设中所具备的潜在作用。

As an important branch of Chinese gardens,the temple garden not only bears the religious functions of traditional Chinese Buddhism,but also records the development of Chinese traditional culture and witnesses the changing times of the city.The Daxingshan temple in Xi’an has become a typical temple garden in the city due to its unique geographical location and profound historical background.This paper will conduct a comprehensive analysis on the functions of Daxingshan Temple from multiple perspectives so as to explore the potential role of temple gardens in urban construction.
