勃艮第的酿酒师绝大多数都是男性,这其实并不难理解。酒农整日整夜念叨的风土以及世代传承的理念都要求酿酒师要花大量的时间在酒园里,那么风吹日晒必然是家常便饭。这样的工作性质估计没有几位爱美的女性能够接受,坚持下来的必然是真爱。因此,女酿酒师在勃艮第并不常见,而享有盛誉的更是凤毛麟角。最负盛名的当属"女魔头"拉鲁女士Lalou Bize-Leroy,而Gros家族的AnneGros同样巾帼不让须眉。葡萄酒大师JancisRobinson对她不吝溢美之词:"AnneGros是勃艮第最受尊敬的酿酒者之一。"
