Celadon Porcelain from Yuezhou Kiln became export products in the Jin Dynasty. At first they were exported to the Korean Peninsula.During the Sui and Tang dynasties they were further exported to Japanese islands.Since then,a“Maritime Ceramic Road”had taken shape.Ningbo as a production center of celadon porcelain was closely linked to the formation and development of the East Asian Maritime Ceramic Road. This has been well proven by the archeological excavations in the Korean Peninsula and Japanese islands. This article elaborates the interaction between Ningbo’s celadon porcelain production and the development of the East Asian Maritime Ceramic Road from the perspective of archeology.
