小议方言词“扫把”“撮箕”

A Discussion on Dialect Words “Saoba” and “Cuoji”

在现代汉语中,有一些方言词因为使用频率高,使用地区广,因而容易被认为是普通话词汇,如"扫把""撮箕"。文章对这两个流行方言词以及它们所对应的普通话词汇"扫帚""簸箕"进行了词源探析和词频字频分析,最后基于这些分析推测"扫把""撮箕"广泛流行以至被认为是普通话词汇的原因,并对这两对词语的命运做出了一定的思考。

In modern Chinese,some dialect words are easy to be regarded as Putonghua words because of their high frequency and wide use area,such as "Saoba" and "Cuoji" . This paper analyzes the etymologies and frequencies of these two popular dialect words and their corresponding Putonghua vocabularies "Saoba" and "Cuoji" . At last,based on these analyses,it is speculated that "Saoba" and "Cuoji" are so popular that they are considered to be the cause of Putonghua vocabularies,and makes some reflections on the fates of these two pairs of words.
