“一带一路”背景下应用型高校大学英语供给侧教学改革路径

On Supply-side Teaching Reform Accesses to College English in the Perspective of“the Belt and Road Initiative”

英语作为世界通用语言已经成为世界各国政治、经济、科技、文化交流的重要工具.学习和使用英语有助我们了解世界思想和科技前沿,同时也是传播中华优秀文明、促进与世界各国人民友好往来的媒介.随着中国“一带一路”倡议的纵深推进,英语在促进与各国政策沟通、设施联通、贸易畅通、资金融通和民心相通方面的桥梁纽带作用日益突出.为积极服务区域经济和满足“一带一路”倡议的外语人才需求,大学英语亟待改进教学供给和需求之间的关系,从教学理念、教学内容、课程设置、教材编写、师资建设以及课程评价等方面努力优化大学英语供给侧教学改革,夯实提升创新复合人才的外语基础和外语应用能力.

As a universal language,English is an important tool for international communication.By learning and using English,we can directly understand the cutting-edge progress of foreign science,technology,ideas and world excellent civilization.Besides,we can also help spread Chinese culture and promote extensive exchanges with people of all countries.With further promotion of China’s“the Belt and Road Initiative”,English has played an increasingly important role in advancing policy communication,road connectivity,unimpeded trade,monetary circulation and understanding between peoples.To satisfy the needs of regional economic development and“the Belt and Road Initiative”,College English is in urgent need of improving the relationship between teaching supply and its demand.It is necessary to optimize the supply-side teaching reform from the following aspects:teaching philosophy,teaching content,curriculum design,teaching material compilation,teacher training and curriculum evaluation,so as to consolidate foreign language foundation and enhance language application ability of the innovative talents.
