As an important architectural and cultural heritage in China, the cave dwellings in Northern Shaanxi have a long history, unique regional characteristics, strong folk culture and other characteristics. Meanwhile the traditional doors and windows, an important part of the cave dwellings in Northern Shaanxi, contain infinite wisdom in production technology, humanities, folk customs, culture and art, with unique research value and research significance. In this paper, the wisdom of traditional construction of the doors and windows of cave dwellings in Northern Shaanxi is combed to provide a real and effective reference for future research and utilization.
