This paper describes the background and principle of glazed rear glass.The cost,light transmittance and mechanical properties,including impact resistance and four point bending Strength,were compared between patterned glazed rear glass and float glazed rear glass.Float glazed rear glass has more advantages in the cost and mechanical properties,which is more conducive to realizing the lightweight of double glass PV module.
