摘要
当今社会的发展需要高素质的人才,在高校的大学英语教学中设置英语公共演讲课程可以提高大学生的综合素质,使他们在英语综合应用能力、沟通技巧、思维能力和自信心方面都有一定的提升,还可以帮助他们塑造正确的三观,从而增强他们在全球化时代的竞争力。
The development of today’s society needs high-quality talents.Setting up English public speaking course in college English teaching can improve the comprehensive quality of college students,improve their comprehensive English application ability,communication skills,thinking ability and self-confidence.It can also help them shape the correct three views,so as to enhance their competition in the era of globalization.
