The control of ink supply can reduce the color difference, and the color difference is determined by the calculation ofΔE by CIE 1976Lab color difference formula. But the control parameter of the ink supply depends on solid density. In this study, four kinds of inks were selected to adjust the solid density by changing the thickness of ink layer through the IGT printability tester. The relationship between solid density D and L*a*b*value of color was analyzed and the best solid density value was determined with minimum color difference. Finally, the mathematical model was established to determine the trend of ink quantity increasing or decreasing in the production operation. The results showed that there is a certain correlation between solid density and the color value.By judging the changing trend of ink volume and the optimal density value, the minimum printing chromatic aberration can be obtained, which reduces the cost of printing enterprises and improves the production efficiency.
