During the five-day’s 2020 China International Fair for Trade in Services(CIFTIS),the financial services topic has attracted much attention from all sectors.Through the exhibition and forum,we can feel the innovation changes of China’s financial industry and send a positive signal to the world that China’s financial industry will open up further.We can expect,with the deepening of financial reform and opening up,the demand growth of market-driven trade and investment and the implementation of the Belt and Road initiative,the international use of RMB will increase,which global cross-border trade settlement and clearing network,such as offshore market will obtain further development.As the market subject and micro supporting force,Chinese enterprises should actively grasp the development process of RMB internationalization and take the initiative.In the short term,it is extremely difficult for the maritime industry to change the dominant position of the US dollar,but in the medium to long term,the maritime industry can improve the scenario,scope and proportion of the application of RMB through incremental changes.
