The growing share of domestic animation industry in national film market can no longer be neglected in the recent years.The representative animated films of 2019 Ne Zha and The Legend of Hei have got considerable critical and public acclaim,indicating that the domestic animation industry has gradually developing a feasible approach to keep up the trend.Apart from the huge leap of technical capability,the great advance of cast characterization is another easily overlooked yet vital factor.Characterization of animated films nowadays has revealed some new features for researchers to discuss and analyse.
