The construction of the“Indo-Pacific”geopolitics by the U.S.and its allies has a significant impact on China’s peripheral diplomatic environment,and China’s peripheral diplomacy has shown its merits while facing challenges.The“Indo-Pacific Strategy”implemented by the U.S.has led to increasing systematic pressure on China and tension on geopolitics of the“Indo-Pacific”region.In fact,the geopolitics of the“Indo-Pacific”region resulted from the strategic interaction between China,Indo-Pacific Countries,and the United States.The emergence of structural contradictions between China and the United States,the U.S.strategic suspicion on China,and the active participation of Indo-Pacific countries in shaping the“Indo-Pacific"geopolitics have dominantly shaped the evolution of China’s Indo-Pacific diplomacy.In the future,with the implementation of the Trump administration’s“Indo-Pacific strategy”,the system pressure of China-U.S.game will be strengthened.In addition,as the“Indo-Pacific”countries are wavering between China and the U.S.,China’s Indo-Pacific diplomacy will develop with moderate tension and overall controllability in the future.
