摘要
电子从光栅表面掠过可以激发Smith-Purcell辐射,其辐射机制可以看作是自由电子激发的偶极子振荡运动产生的辐射。基于此,本文研究了运动的多偶极子振荡产生的增强Smith-Purcell辐射。通过理论分析和粒子模拟仿真,验证了多偶极子振荡增强辐射的具体机制。该机制有望用于提升Smith-Purcell辐射的效率,对发展基于该辐射的真空电子太赫兹辐射源探索工作具有指导意义。
Electrons skimming over grating surface can excite Smith-Purcell radiation,which can be regarded as radiation generated by the moving dipole oscillations excited by free electrons.On this basis,we investigated the enhanced Smith-Purcell radiation generated by moving multi-dipole oscillations.Through theoretical analysis and computer simulation,the mechanism of enhanced radiation by multi-dipole oscillation is verified.This mechanism is expected to improve the efficiency of Smith-Purcell radiation and has a guiding significance for the exploration of terahertz vacuum electron device.
