以分析新建本科高校面临的生存压力为逻辑起点,展望了此类学报的发展前景,肯定了此类学报的存在价值,并对其转型发展提出了建议。认为要在服务区域经济社会发展、应用型科研成果报道、支持重点教学科研项目研究等方面发挥作用,并在现行体制下实现期刊管理和编辑队伍管理的创新,用灵活设置栏目、加强学报间的合作、在媒体融合背景下抢抓机遇、培养一支稳定的作者队伍、不断提升编辑人员素养等方法在激烈的学术发表领域竞争中谋取一席之地。

By analyzing pressures faced by new undergraduate colleges, this paper looks into prospects of their Periodical Departments. It points out their values for colleges, and puts forward propositions for their transformational development. The author believes that Periodical Department should serve local economical and social development, publish application-oriented researches and support projects of key teaching and scientific research.Additionally, it is also essential to innovate their periodical management as well as team management, design columns flexibly, enhance cooperation with counterparts, cultivate regular writers, and improve editors’ quality.With various measures, the Periodical Department in new undergraduate colleges will have the edge on other editorial departments of academic publication among fierce competition.
