林海音的文学创作,主要以台湾与北平双城民俗和女性题材为书写内容。民俗文化书写是她传承中华传统文化的直接体现。她借对北平民俗风物的渲染叙写,抒发了强烈而深沉的乡恋之情。在对台湾的书写中,她以女性视角进行细腻观察和关怀书写,既展示了台湾民俗文化的独特性,也呈示了台湾文化对中华传统文化的传承与丰富。“婚姻故事”系列小说则以传统文化为基础,建构了传统与现代相融的理想婚姻形态。林海音创作的文化选择与中国传统文学的价值取向是一致的。海峡两岸的生活阅历使林海音消弭了区域文化差异形成的身份困惑,在从情感自发回忆到理性自觉“再造”历程中,她不断强化对中华文化的认同,这也是她能够游刃有余于两岸题材书写的深层次原因。

Lin Haiyin,a famous female writer,mainly focused on the customs and female characters of the two locations of Taiwan and Peiping.Folk culture has been the theme of her literary creation,which conveyed her longing for Peiping,especially the traditional Chinese culture in addition to the particularity of Taiwan from the feminist perspective.The novels of“marriage story”construct the ideal marital form on the basis of traditional culture,as the combination of tradition and modernity.These characteristics are in line with the value orientation of traditional literature.Her life experience across the straits helped overcome the differences between regional cultures,and enhance her recognition of Chinese culture,in the enchanting narration and reconstruction.
