Little Happiness is a momentous cultural phenomenon prevailing among the young generation in Taiwan in recent years,and has become an important label as well as a generation consciousness for the post-80s generation in Taiwan.The idea of little happiness has penetrated into different areas of the Taiwan society,and embodies the complicated problems and conflicts among economy,social structure,youth culture,cultural identity,and generations in contemporary Taiwan.By analyzing the social background,cultural connotation,and historical context from which the idea of little happiness generates as well as its influence,we may see through the image of sweetness and warmth represented by the idea of little happiness,and delve into the realistic problems and spiritual crisis within the Taiwan society.
