Early Selection of Zenia insignis Superior Provenances and Families in Guangxi

摘要 种源与家系早期选择是林木育种的重要措施,为筛选出速生的翅荚木(Zenia insignis)优良种源和家系,对5年生翅荚木4个地理种源和105个家系的生长性状差异及遗传变异进行分析。结果表明,不同种源和家系间林木的胸径、树高和单株材积差异极显著。以材积为评价指标对种源进行选择,初步选出忻城和平果种源两个优良种源,其材积的遗传增益分别为15.97%和11.43%;以育种值综合评分法,初步选出11个优良家系,其胸径、树高和单株材积的平均遗传增益分别为26.07%、22.99%和78.90%。结果可为翅荚木初级种子园建设及进一步的遗传改良奠定基础。 Early selection of provenance and family is important measure in tree breeding.In order to select fastgrowing superior provenances and families of Zenia insignis,differences of growth traits and genetic variations of4 geographical provenances and 105 families of 5-year-old Z.insignis were analyzed.Results showed that there were extremely significant differences in DBH,tree height and individual volume among different provenances and families.Xincheng and Pingguo provenances were preliminarily selected as two superior provenances with volume as evaluation index.Genetic gains of their volumes were 15.97%and 11.43%,respectively.Eleven superior families were selected by method of comprehensive evaluation of breeding value.Average genetic gains of DBH,tree height and individual volume were 26.07%,22.99%and 78.90%,respectively.Results could lay a foundation for the construction of primary seed orchard and further genetic improvement.
