IThe treatment process and its application of alkali containing wastewater in cold rolling wastewater treatment station of a steel plant are introduced.The process of twostage air flotation+two-stage biochemical and clarification was adopted in the alkali waste⁃water treatment system.Effective solutions were taken to solve the problems in operation,and the effluent index meets the requirements of the special limit value of water pollution in the Discharge Standard of Water Pollutants for Steel Industry(GB13456-2012).
