Creating a New Pattern in China-ASEAN Cooperation Through Civilizational Exchanges

东盟是我国对外经贸合作的重点区域与优先方向,推动中国-东盟文明交流互鉴对于构建周边命运共同体,夯实双边经贸合作基础以及实现民心相通意义重大。近年来,中国-东盟的人文交流合作取得丰硕成果,但也面临文化意识形态阻隔、人文交流“近而不亲”、交流合作机制不健全、交流合作空间失衡等诸多困境,亟需从“拓展”和“深耕”人文交流范式、推进区域公共文化外交新理念和新举措,多方位营造人文交流合作的有利条件等入手,破解中国-东盟文明交流互鉴困局,开创中国-东盟合作新格局。

ASEAN is a key and prioritized region for China's foreign economic and trade cooperation.Promoting the cultural exchanges between China and ASEAN is of great significance for building a community of shared destiny with the neighboring countries,consolidating the foundation of bilateral economic and trade cooperation,and realizing people-to-people communication.In recent years,the people-to-people exchanges and cooperation between China and ASEAN have achieved fruitful results,but they are also faced with many difficulties,such as cultural and ideological barriers,frequent but not close people-to-people exchanges,imperfect exchange and cooperation mechanism,and imbalance of exchange and cooperation space.It is urgent to"expand"and"deeply cultivate"the cultural exchange paradigm,produce new ideas and measures for regional public cultural diplomacy, and foster favorable conditions for people-to-people exchanges and cooperation in various aspects,address the dilemma about China-ASEAN civilizational exchanges,and create a new pattern of China-ASEAN cooperation.
