中国古代纸甲构成分析及其造物思想研究

Composition and creation idea analysis of Paper Armor in ancient China

[研究意义]纸甲作为中国古代戎服的组成部分之一,历史文献虽对其有所记载,但目前缺少系统的研究论述。[研究方法]文章通过历代关于纸甲的图像和文字资料的梳理,对其形制、材质、工艺进行总结,并对其蕴含的的服饰造物思想进行了剖析。[研究结果与结论]研究认为:中国古代纸甲形制简约但材质独特,且工艺保持民族质朴特色,纸甲的生产效率以及材质特性体现出“生产便利”“战备便宜”的“适用”造物理念;陈年账籍、旧棉絮等在战事资源紧张的情况下成为新的制作材料被再次利用,体现出“尽其功用”的“致用”造物理念。中国古代纸甲不仅对古代海防战备力量产生了积极作用,而且也体现了中国古代人民在特定历史时期创造性的智慧。

Paper-armor is one of the parts of the ancient Chinese costume,and the historical literature has mentioned it,but there has been no systematic research on it.The article analyzes the images and texts of paper-armor over the ages,summarizes its shape,materials and processes and also explores the ideas of its creation.The research suggests that the ancient Chinese paper-armor was simple but unique in material,and its craftsmanship maintained the national rustic feature.The production efficiency and material characteristics of paper-armor reflected the'applicable'creation concept of'convenient production'and'cheap military gear'.The old account books and old cotton were re-used as new production materials under the circumstances of tight war resources,which reflected the'useful'creation concept of'making the best use of everything'.The ancient Chinese paper-armor not only had a positive effect on the ancient coastal defense,but also revealed the creative wisdom of ancient Chinese people in specific historical periods.
