托幼公共服务对农村女性劳动参与时间的影响

The Influence of Childcare Public Services on the Rural Woman's Working Hours

使用中国健康与营养调查(CHNS)2011、2015年的数据,采用双重差分法,考察了托幼公共服务对农村女性劳动参与时间的影响。实证结果表明,托幼公共服务对农村女性劳动参与具有显著的正向影响,健康状况、受教育程度等农村女性的个人特征以及孩子的性别、家庭劳动力数量等家庭特征也对其劳动参与时间产生一定的正向作用。增强托幼公共服务的可及性,利于缓解农村女性抚育幼儿与劳动参与的矛盾,提高其工作积极性,推进性别平等化,释放和调动农村经济的增长潜力,助力乡村振兴战略。

Based on the CHNS data from 2011 to 2015 and adopting DID,in this article the influence of childcare public services to the rural women's working hours is investigated.The study indicates that childcare public services have a significant positive impact on rural woman's labor participation.In addition,the family characteristics of rural women such as health status and education level,as well as the family characteristics of children's gender and the number of family labor forces have a certain positive effect on their working hours.Enhancing the accessibility of childcare public services helps ease the contradiction between rural women raising children and their labor participation,motivating the enthusiasm of working,promoting gender equality,unleashing and harnessing the economic potential of the rural economy which help the strategy of rural revitalization.
