The Theory,Knowledge and Method Building of China’s Institutional Research

摘要 中国院校研究走向成熟要着力探索院校研究的理论、知识与方法。就理论而言,要通过数据挖掘生成理论;兼顾外部借用与内部理论创造;针对高校管理事务专业化构建理论;提高所创建理论的可检验性。就知识而言,要构建分层次、显性知识与隐性知识相结合的知识体系;通过专题研究积累共有范例,构建知识范式。就方法而言,要构建质性研究与量化研究相结合的方法体系;在理论检验式案例研究基础上更加重视理论构建式案例研究,并最终走向行动研究;综合运用实证主义、诠释主义和批判主义等多元范式;以对决策的影响程度作为判定方法质量的重要标准。 Towards the maturity stage of China’s institutional research(IR),it should explore the theory,knowledge and method of IR.At the aspect of IR theory,it could generate theories through data mining,balancing external theory transplant and internal creation,targeting to the professionalization of institutional management,and improving the testability of the built theories.At the aspect of IR knowledge,it should construct a knowledge system of IR combining level,explicit and implicit dimensions;and accumulate common examples through thematic research and construct the IR knowledge paradigm.At the aspect of method,it should build IR research method system combining qualitative and quantitative research;on the basis of the theory-test case study,it should pay attention to the theorybuilding case study,finally moving to the action research;it should employ multiple paradigms including positivism,interpretivism and criticism paradigm;it should take the criterion to judge the quality of method by its influence on decision.
