红色是一种充满激情与活力的颜色,是一种象征革命与奋斗的颜色。中华民族的红色情结与生俱来,革命者对红色的追求热烈淳朴。中国共产党高举中华民族伟大复兴的大旗,以昂扬的革命斗志、豪迈的革命情怀,带领中国人民走向独立与解放、复兴与富强,留下了一段段红色记忆,绘就了耀眼的中国共产党人精神谱系。“红色”是其至关重要的“精神内核”,是革命者的初心坚守,是奋斗者的使命担当,是融入血脉之中的共产党人精神本色。红色基因是中国共产党区别于其他一切阶级政党的鲜明标识和政治优势,是党和国家的宝贵精神财富。党的十八大以来,习近平总书记高度重视红色基因的传承,深刻思考着中国共产党的使命与担当。新时代必须让红色基因融入血脉,高举红色旗帜,走好新时代的长征路。

Red is a color of passion and vitality,a symbol of revolution and struggle.Since its founding,the Communist Party of China(CPC)has always held up the banner of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and,with aggressive revolutionary spirit and heroic revolutionary feeling,has led the Chinese people to march forward to independence and liberation,rejuvenation and prosperity,thus having left a lot of red memories in our mind and mapped the dazzling spiritual pedigree of Chinese communists.“Red”is its distinctive“kernel”,being the original aspiration of the revolutionists,the mission of the strugglers and the true quality melt into the blood of Chinese communists.The red gene is a distinct sign and political advantage distinguishing the CPC from the parties of all other classes,and it is a valuable spiritual wealth of the Party and the country.Since the 18th Party Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping has attached great importance to the succession of the red gene and deeply reflected on the mission and responsibility of the Party.In the new era,we must pass on the red gene,hold up the red flag,and march forward along the way of today’s long march.
