On Chen Yun’s Historical Contribution

陈云在党中央领导岗位的时间,前后加起来有近半个世纪,跨越了革命、建设、改革各个历史时期,既是以毛泽东为核心的中央领导集体重要成员,也是以邓小平为核心的中央领导集体重要成员。陈云具有无比忠诚、百折不挠的精神,不计名利、能上能下的高风亮节,在从事的每一项工作中都有所建树,为党和人民做出了多方面贡献。这些贡献有物质层面的,也有精神层面的;有经济领域的,也有政治、党建乃至思想文化领域的。

Chen Yun stayed in the central leadership of the CPC for nearly half a century,spanning various historical periods of revolution,construction and reform.He was not only an important member of the central leadership with Mao Zedong as the core,but also an important member of the central leadership with Deng Xiaoping as the core.With the spirit of loyalty and perseverance,Chen Yun did not care personal fame or wealth,and could treat both promotion and demotion with indifference.He made remarkable achievements in every work he engaged in,and made many contributions,both material and spiritual,to the Party and the people.The fields in which his contributions were made include economy,politics,party building,and even ideology and culture.
