摘要 交通可达性对经济增长的影响是经济地理研究的重要话题。本文基于中国283个城市DMSP/OLS夜间卫星灯光面板数据,构建空间计量SARAR模型考察交通基础设施改善带来的交通可达性提升对城市经济增长的影响。研究发现:中国城市经济存在显著的空间相关关系,体现为空间溢出效应。城市间的交通可达性在不断提升,并显著促进了城市经济增长。从影响的机制看,交通可达性主要是通过促进劳动力流动、提升产业结构和促进产业集聚来有效推动城市经济发展。本文以城市高等学校数量为工具变量进行的重新估计结果表明上述结论是稳健的。 The improvement of transport infrastructure is very important to the economic growth.Based on the DMSP/OLS nighttime satellite lighting panel data of 283 cities in China,this paper constructs a spatial SARAR model to investigate the impact of transportation infrastructure improvement on urban economic growth.The study finds that:There are significant spatial correlations in the urban economy,which are manifested as spatial spillover effects;the traffic accessibility of Chinese cities has been continuously improved in these years and it has significantly promoted the economic growth of the city.And this promoting effect is mainly from the labor mobility promoting,industrial structure upgrading and agglomeration accelearting.The re-estimation with the high school quantity in the city as a instrumental variables indicates that the above conclusions are robust.
