Promoting a New Round of Globalization with the China-Japan-South Korea Free Trade Area

中日韩三国作为亚洲地区的重要国家和世界的主要经济体,文化交往源远流长,经济合作基础深厚,产业互补性较强,价值链融合度较高,建立中日韩自由贸易区对于进一步凝聚三国合作潜力,促进区域内价值链深度融合,推进区域经济一体化进程和促进世界经济增长都具有重要意义。后疫情时代为建设中日韩自由贸易区注入了新的动力,目前的关键是要创新合作模式,突破内外障碍,统筹国际国内规则,注重规则与制度建设,积极引领中日韩自贸协定谈判,共同推进新一轮经济全球化,促进亚太地区和世界的经济增长与和平发展。

As the important countries in Asia and the main economies in the world,China,Japan and South Korea have a long history of cultural exchanges,a deep foundation of economic cooperation,strong industrial complementarity and high value chain integration.The establishment of the China-Japan-South Korea Free Trade Area (FTA) is of great significance to further expanding their cooperation potential,promoting the deep integration of regional value chains,and advancing the process of regional economic integration and world economic growth.The post-epidemic era gives a new impetus to the establishment of the China-Japan-South Korea FTA.At present,the key is to innovate cooperation mode,break through internal and external barriers,coordinate international and domestic rules,pay attention to rules and institutional construction,actively lead the negotiations on the China-Japan-South Korea free trade agreement,jointly promote a new round of economic globalization,and facilitate economic growth and peaceful development in the Asia Pacific region and the world.
