美国一流大学工程教育组织变革与创新——以普渡大学工程教育系为例 被引量:3

摘要 工程教育教学质量的提升亟需成立工程教育系等专门凝聚工程教育教学和研究资源的组织机构。美国普渡大学工程教育系根基深厚、资源丰厚、特色明显,形成了涵盖新生工程教育项目、多学科工程项目和跨学科工程研究项目、工程教育博士项目、P-12工程研究与学习中心等特色项目,同时亦面临新时代的发展困境与现实挑战。我国高校在理性引荐美国先进工程教育理念外,亦有必要借鉴其组织变革的经验和做法,为我国高等工程教育创新提供实践参考。 To improve the quality of engineering education and teaching,there is an urgent need to set up organizations such as the School of Engineering Education which specializes in consolidating engineering education and research resources.The School of Engineering Education at Purdue University has a solid foundation,distinct characteristics and abundant resources.It has formed special projects covering First-Year Engineering program,multidisciplinary engineering program and interdisciplinary engineering research program,doctoral engineering education program,and P-12 engineering research and learning center.At the same time,it is also confronted by the development dilemma and practical challenges in the new era.It is recommended that colleges and universities in China should rationally introduce the advanced engineering education philosophy from the United States,and learn the experiences and lessons of organizational innovation,in order to provide enlightenment for the higher engineering education innovation.
