针对目前应用型本科"机械设计基础"实践教学环节存在的问题进行分析,提出为适应现代社会对复合型、应用型、创新型人才的需求,必须对"机械设计基础"实验及设计实践教学环节进行优化改革,作者结合实际教学条件,进行了改革性教学尝试,实践证明,优化改革后的实践教学体系,可以显著提高学生的实践动手能力和创新设计能力。
