民国时期“科学中国化”思潮及其影响

The Study of“Sinicization of Science”in the Period of the Republic of China and Its Influence

1926年,在“文化民族主义”思潮的影响下,周建人提出了“科学中国化”概念,并予以详细阐述。20世纪30年代,随着“科学化运动”的开展,“科学中国化”思想开始受到学界广泛关注,并逐渐形成一种文化思潮。“科学中国化”并不是追求普适性的科学理论和方法的“中国化”,而是以中国实际国情为基础,提倡近代科学精神的培养,主张有选择地引进西方科学,呼吁加强对本土资源的科学研究,倡导科技名词术语的规范化翻译等。“科学中国化”思潮不仅推动了“科学化运动”向更深层次发展,而且对民国中后期大学教科书“中国化”运动产生了重要影响。

In 1926,ZHOU Jianren put forward the concept of“Sinicization of Science”under the influence of the trend of“cultural nationalism”.In the 1930s,the“Sinicization of Science”thought began to be widely concerned by the academic circle and gradually formed a cultural trend of thought with the development of the“Scientific Movement”.The“Sinicization of Science”was not the Sinicization of the universal scientific theory and method,but was claims the cultivation of modern scientific spirit,the sel ective introduction of western science,the scientific research of local resources,and the standardized translation of scientific and technological terms based on the actual situation of China.The“Sinicization of Science”not only promoted the development of“Scientific Movement”to a deeper level,but also had an important influence on the movement of“Nationalized”of university textbooks in the middle and late period of the Republic of China.
