“以平为期”治则在治疗新冠肺炎的应用

Application of the Concept of“to Balance as the Goal”in the Treatment of COVID-19

新冠肺炎(COVID-19)的爆发由于天时阴阳失衡,而虚体受邪亦致阴阳失衡而发病。中西医皆注重人体的“平衡”,西医认为免疫力低下易于感染病毒,病毒激发过强的免疫应答,导致患者脏器受到损伤,治疗上予抗病毒及调节免疫为主。中医认为“无问其病,以平为期”,根据辩证阴阳的胜负或偏向而对症治之,衡量祛邪与扶正的平衡,即热者寒之,寒者热之,实邪则泻之,正虚则补之,调节正气以驱邪,使机体恢复平衡的状态。本文围绕人体“阴平阳秘”的阴阳动态平衡状态,基于中医、西医理论基础,从发病机理、“以平为期”在治疗COVID-19中的应用两方面进行综述,以期给予临床治疗以借鉴。

The outbreak of the Coronavirus Disease 2019(COVID-19)is caused by the imbalance of yin and yang in nature,and the people who are in weak would catch the evil lead to the imbalance of yin and yang.Both Chinese and western medicine pay attention to the"balance"of human body.The western medicine believes that low immunity is susceptible to infection with the virus,which stimulates xcessively strong immune responses and leads to damage to the organs.Antivirals and immune regulation are used in the treatment.Chinese medicine believes that“to balance as the goal”,according to the yin-yang syndrome,treatment should base on syndrome differentiation,and weigh the balance between eliminating pathogens and strengthening the body resistance,such as treating heat-syndrome with cold-natured drugs,treating cold-syndrome with hot-natured drugs,purging the excess,treating deficiency with tonification,regulating vital qi to eliminate pathogens and restore the body to a balanced state.In order to give reference for clinical treatment of COVID-19,this article focuses on the dynamic balance of yin and yang of the human body as the saying"yin and yang in equilibrium",and reviews the pathogenesis and the application of"to balance as the goal"in the treatment of COVID-19 based on the basic theories of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine.
