修睦是晚唐五代时期生活在庐山地区的诗僧之一,其诗歌创作取得了一定的成绩。他的诗歌题材较为丰富,包含咏物、送别、怀人、闲适等众多内容,艺术特色也十分突出。其不仅工于律诗,且其诗作中带有浓厚的“清”味。总的来看,修睦的诗歌创作上承贾岛,下启宋初晚唐体诗人,既丰富了晚唐五代时期诗僧群体的创作成果,又进一步充实了庐山地区的文化底蕴。

Xiu Mu is one of the monk poets who lived in Lushan area during the late Tang Dynasty and Five Dynasties,and his poetry creation has made certain achievements.The theme of Xiu Mu’s poetry is diversified,including object-chanting,farewell,missing,leisure and so on.In addition,the artistic features of Xiu Mu’s poetry are also very prominent.He not only works on regulated verse,but also creates a kind of leisurely and cold aesthetic feeling in his poems.In conclusion,Xiu Mu’s poetry creation inherits the poetic style of Jia Dao,and inspires the poetry creation of the poets of the Late Tang Dynasty Poetry Style in the early Song Dynasty.It not only enriches the creative achievements of monk poets in the late Tang Dynasty and Five Dynasties,but also further enriches the cultural heritage of Lushan area.
