The development of Chinese classical garden has a history of thousands of years,whose cultural deposit is self-evident.This paper compares the similarities and differences between Chinese classical gardens and modern gardens from the aspects of gardening techniques and characteristics,and explores the interpretation and expression elements of Chinese classical gardens in modern gardens,aiming to better realize the application of the design techniques of Chinese classical gardens in modern gardens.
