There are many ancient prescriptions related to skin care during the past dynasties. This paper summarized and classified the ancient prescriptions, then recombined it into a new beauty prescription based on ginseng. We studied its potential effect on skin care, and the results showed that ginseng compound could inhibit the melanin secretion of B16 melanocytes to a certain extent, indicating that it may have a certain whitening effect. And the activity of NF-κb has a certain degree of inhibition, suggested that compound may have a certain anti-inflammatory effect.
