Japan’s“Local National Movement”in China During the War of Aggression Against China--Focusing on“Shanghai Youth League”

全面侵华战争爆发后,为了建立国家总动员体制,促进国民协力战争,日本政府发动国民精神总动员运动,并成立各种国民运动组织。在日军占领下的上海,1939年2月,在总领事馆的推动下成立了现地青年运动组织"上海青年俱乐部",1940年8月更名为"上海青年团"。"上海青年团"成为上海现地国民运动的核心组织,在"大东亚新秩序"理念下开展翼赞活动,为军国主义侵略扩张的国策服务。

After the outbreak of the all-round war of aggression against China,in order to establish the national mobilization system and promote the national cooperation in the war,the Japanese government launched the national spirit mobilization movement and established various national movement organizations.In Shanghai under the Japanese occupation,in February 1939,under the promotion of the consulate general,the local youth movement organization“Shanghai Youth Club”was established.In August 1940,it was renamed“Shanghai Youth League”.The“Shanghai Youth League”has become the core organization of the local national movement in Shanghai.Under the concept of“Greater East Asian New Order”,the“Shanghai Youth League”has carried out emperor-assisting activities to serve the national policy of militarist aggression and expansion.
